With bike and backpack through Europe and Asia [2013-04-16 - 2018-06-12]"Cycling on beautiful bicycle routes through Europe" should be the motto of our third long cycle tour. When we arrived in Lisbon in the fall of 2013, we had a great track through southern Germany, France, Spain and Portugal behind us. But the days had gradually become shorter and the nights in the tent were slowly but surely uncomfortably cool. How should we continue? A winter break without a bike in Asia seemed to be the best option. We decided to leave for India for a few months and in the spring of 2014 we got back in the saddle in Lisbon. The Asian winter break proved to be successful and was therefore also applied at the end of the following autumn. For four "cycling summers", we pedaled 22,000 kilometers on European bike paths and traveled by plane, train, bus, boat and on foot through India, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
